Hey! My name is Sean Beavers and I am the founder and instructor at Smart Classical Guitar. My passion for classical guitar started when I was 12. Soon I was practicing several hours a day and I went on to earn a bachelor's, master's, and doctorate in classical guitar performance.
I believe that classical guitar should be accessible to everyone regardless of age or prior experience. So I started Smart Classical Guitar to demystify classical guitar, simplify the learning process, and make classical guitar accessible for anyone to learn.

Can I really learn classical guitar technique online?
Sure you can. While this may be an online course, not all of the learning is done online. I have included easy-to-follow exercises for you to play on your classical guitar. Also, you can follow along with any of the videos with the guitar in your hands. The great thing about an online course is that you get to learn at your own pace. You can watch the video demonstrations as many times as you like and if you're not happy with the course you can get a refund. :)
Does this course enable me to play any piece in the classical guitar repertoire?
This course is intended to help you take your playing to the next level, opening up more pieces you can play. With that said, if you are currently at a beginner level, the first trip through the course would help you to move to an intermediate level. You can go back through the course in the future to level up again.
Why are there three tracks in day 5?
This course is designed to meet you where you are. Based on the self-assessment in Day 1, you choose your own adventure, selecting the track that is best for you to pursue in Day 5. The appropriate track will take you to the next level. Then you can come back to the course in the future to level up your skill even further.
Why is there a bonus module?
There are some technique elements that are not part of your core workout but are still useful to cover. So I have provided some bonus content covering those elements.
When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course. You decide when you start and when you finish. It is designed to be finished in 5 days, but you can binge it in 1 day or stretch it out if you wish.
